4.6 Andres Bautista Writing 3 Assignment

Morning breakfast in 30 minutes or less

As a college student and part-time worker, I rarely have any time to cook breakfast. When I got free time I love to make a good "Old American Breakfast."  I will take you step by step on how to make this amazing breakfast.

Ingredients needed

These are the main things you'll need to make this breakfast. Feel free to add and remove things so it meats your morning breakfast

  • Eggs
  • Bacon
  • Hashbrowns
  • waffles
  • Butter or oil
  • Syrup

Things you need to know before cooking

To get the best experience for this morning breakfast you can do this with homemade waffles or hashbrowns.  But I will be teaching you how to make this in 30 mins or less for those who are at a time limit. Both ways will allow you to have a healthy and delicious meal. So let's get started and make our breakfast.

How to Make

To make the process more efficient we will cook the eggs and hashbrowns at the same time with a timer set.
  • First, we want to heat up the pan with butter or oil. The amount of how much you put in is personal preference some maybe put more and some may put less.
  • Once the pans are heated we want to put our eggs and hashbrowns into their corresponding pans. Also, at this time we want to set a timer for 10-12 minutes for both ingredients. As time goes on scramble the eggs and move around the hashbrowns.  When it reaches 10 minutes take off the eggs so you don't overcook them. After that check on the hashbrowns if not crispy enough continue to cook them for another five minutes.
  • At 15 minutes you want to put your bacon to cook until crispy.  As you are putting your bacon also put in the waffles for 3 minutes in the toaster.

After all the food is cooked to your personal taste grab some plates. At last, it is time to eat. Enjoy this morning breakfast that is easy to make and only takes about 20-30 minutes of your time.

  1. Hi Andres,

I see you used two lists, but the second list should be numbered because of the order of instructions. The context of the list does make sense.

  2. Hi Andres! Your first list of ingredients is really helpful! I like how detailed your second list is, but it would be easier to understand the step-by-step if you had used a numbered list.
