What's better than Texas?

If money wasn't an object and gas wasn't at $3.05, where would you go? You may say, Mexico or at least somewhere warmer. You may want to be able to dine in fancy dinners while looking at the beaches. You might also think of being able to look at beautiful landscapes. What if I told you we have the perfect place in mind. Texas. Texas is the second-biggest state in the US behind Alaska and nearly three times bigger than the UK!. Don't worry there are many things to do here.

1. Rodeos

Rodeo In Texas
Texas’s main industry has been cattle. Texas is associated with the image of the cowboy. You can’t think of Texas without thinking of a rodeo, and in Houston, you have the world’s largest rodeo every winter! Here is a list of rodeos in 2021.

2. Food

Huge steak on grill
‘Everything is bigger in Texas!’ – including your food! Big meat, big BBQs, big flavors and a mix of Native American, Mexican, and of course American cuisine makes Texas dining a unique experience. According to the Food Network, the best thing to get is the steaks.

3. World-class cities

Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth, and more. There are world-class cities all over Texas. Austin has more music venues than any other city and is known as the Live Music Capital of the World, Dallas is a shopper’s paradise offering more shopping centers than any other city in the US. Isn’t Texas just great!?

Is that not enough? Check out more things to do

  1. Haven, I love Texas, even though I've been there quite a bit. I think you did a great job persuading your readers to visit Texas. Even though I'm not a big rodeo girl, you made them seem like lots of fun especially seeing them in Texas because "Everything is bigger in Texas!"

  2. Hi Haven! I've never been to Texas! This definitely piqued my interest, and I loved your choice of imagery. Your numbered list helped me follow along with the reasons as to why I should visit. I like that your link is a different color, it helps the reader to know this is something they should click on.
