Why India is Worth the 10+ Hour Flight

You may be hesitant to travel to India because of the long flight or the idea of culture shock gives you anxiety but a trip to India is the best way to get out of your comfort zone! India offers many rich experiences through its historical sites, wildlife, cuisine, and culture.

Some ideas:

  • Attend a festival
  • Go on a tiger safari
  • Explore caves
  • See national parks
  • Experience Bollywood
  • Attend a yoga retreat
  • Try the Cuisine

Historical and Architectural Significance

Traditional Indian architecture.
Attention all history and art fanatics! Did you know India is home to some of the oldest monuments and ruins? Even if you're not an expert on architecture, you will find yourself captivated by India's palaces, temples, memorials, and tombs.

India is home to multiple world religions and cultures and reflects in many aspects of their culture, such as its architecture. There is no denying how mesmerizing striking the exteriors and interiors of these buildings are wherever you go.

Nature and Wildlife

India is home to diverse wildlife and ecosystems. Because of the diversity in ecosystems, India has a lot to offer tourists all year long like deserts, caves, salt marshes, waterfalls, and more. One of the easiest ways to experience all their Nature has to offer is by seeking out their national parks

And let's not forget the animals. There are a handful of parks that offer safaris for guests to see tigers, lions, crocodiles, and more. If a safari isn't your thing, there are other options for you as well. Take it easy by visiting an elephant sanctuary or butterfly park..

Because India is home to many different
cultures and religions, there is no shortage of festivals and celebrations. Celebrate love by attending the very popular Holi Festival; also known as the "Festival of Colors."

And don't forget to check out India's street food scene! There is no shortage of spices in Indian food thanks to many cultural influences. Your taste buds will be dancing with bold flavors like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and cinnamon. Not to mention it's vegetarian and vegan friendly.

So, will a long plane ride really hold you back?

India awaits!

  2. Hey
I also found your blog post interesting. Your post seems long but the way it is formatted makes it super nice to read. Also I think the images helps as well to create less white space. Which I think it kept me on track to finishing the post. But awesome job
