3.4 Gabby Johnson Writing 1

You're serious? We can keep her?!

My dad's house has many outdoor creatures. One of those being cats. Actually, most of them being cats. This year was the first year the outdoor cats at his home were going to be going to their forever homes. At my mom's house, we had family guinea pigs, but I at the time did not have any animals of my own. Living with my mom was just fine, other than the fact that she did not want any more animals in the house. I wanted to change that. I wanted my own cat. And I bet you'll never guess, my wish came true!

I somehow had to change her mind. I had to try and convince her in the small amount of time that I was responsible enough to have a cat of my own. To do this I saved my money and bought all the necessities. Food, bed, dishes, cage, brush, clippers, litter box, scoop, litter, bags, treats, and toys. I got it all. I was ready to prove I could take care of this cat! She was quite impressed. But still hesitant. Even after all of that! I spent good money on all of that stuff!

After asking and pleading, she finally said yes. Honestly, I think she was just sick of me asking three thousand times a day. Okay, I guess it wasn't that many times, but you get it. Whatever I could do to get that cat, I was going to do!

Daisy
She was always worried that for some reason this new cat would not get along with the guinea pigs. Jokes on her, Dasiy got along great with the guinea pigs. She loved them actually. She tried to get close to them and cuddle them as a kitten. She was so gentle with them.

Daisy has been my friend for the past few years and I'm so glad she is able to be mine! We are like 2 peas in a pod. Sometimes she's a little stinker, but I love her. All of that ruthless questioning was so worth it! My mom thought so too.
